It's more of a sticky foam rinse than a watery one which is what I expected from the term rinse. Hard to disperse with a cat who doesn't want it in my case but, it works!

I heartily recommend everyone use this for their dogs, cats, and it's even used for reptiles. I never heard of Chlorhexidine oral rinses until my oral surgeon gave me a bottle post wisdom tooth extraction. It has made a stunning improvement in my dogs dental health. I also use a soft bamboo toothbrush that is much gentler than even the baby toothbrush I was using... gets in between tiny teeth. This brand is made for veterinary use without certain sugars or flavorings that may not be good for pets.

Dogs got a great report from vet concerning oral care and their breaths smell better. Only a little bit of solution works!
